This article is for faculty and staff who are trying to add new information in Contacts, as well as import and export contact lists.

Accessing Contacts

  1. To access your Contacts, open Outlook 2011 and navigate to the Contacts tab on the bottom left-hand corner.
  2. Here you can create a new Contact or Contact Group (distribution list).
  3. You can then enter the Contact’s name, email, and phone number.

Importing and Exporting Contacts

  1. To Import or Export contact lists, navigate to the Tools tab.
  2. Follow the on-screen wizard to finishing importing or exporting. Outlook data file contact lists must use the file type ".pst" or ".olm".
