Occasionally, the Office 2019 update on University machines may uninstall Microsoft Access. This article will briefly explain how to re-install the application.
Redownloading Office 365 Applications
You will need to download the Microsoft online installer. Doing so will re-install your existing Office applications and add Microsoft Access. Your settings and email configuration will not be changed.
- Navigate to the Office Account Page.
- Log in with your UConn email and password.
Select Install Office under Apps & Devices.
If you are missing the option to install Office, try a different browser. Make sure you are accessing the page on a Windows 10 PC.
- Download and run the program. You will need to close out of all Office programs. Once the installer finishes, Access should be visible.
