UConn student, faculty, and staff can use Notepad to opt-in commands for specific users after saving the file as a .txt file.

Creating the file

  1. Open up any ASCII text editor such as Notepad.
  2. Enter any e-mail addresses that will be used for the bulk operations.
    • Names for the address can be added in parentheses to the right of the e-mail address.
    • Use only one e-mail address or name per line.
  3. Once all the desired e-mails and names have been added, save the file as a .txt file.


Notepad saves the file as .txt by default.
