This article is for faculty, staff, and students seeking information regarding using UConn AnyWare Apps and Desktop to access the personal (P) drive, departmental (Q) drive, or websites that are only available on the UConn network (rare), as well as several other pieces of licensed software.  You will find a list of available software can be found once you have logged into the UConn AnyWare Portal.

P: and Q: Drive

To access p: and q: drive applications, 

  1. Log in to UConn AnyWare Apps. A page of available apps will then display.
  2. Scroll down to the P: or Q: drive apps.
  3. Select the app you wish to use. 

Browsers

You can use Chrome, FireFox, and Internet Explorer on UConn Anyware to access websites that are only available when you are connected to the UConn network, such as an internal site for a contract service. This browser has access inside the network, even if you are off-campus.

To access Chrome, FireFox or Internet Explorer on UConn AnyWare, 

  1. Log in to UConn AnyWare Apps. A page of available apps will then display.
  2. Scroll down to the browser you wish to use.
  3. Click on the browser to open it. You can now use this browser as if you were using it on-campus.
