Faculty, staff and students can establish a secure connection to the UConn network via the Pulse Secure client (a VPN software). VPN provides a encrypted connection between your computer and the UConn network and allows you to access restricted resources.

Not all university services and systems require a VPN connection for access. You can log into and use many services, such as email, Core-CT, library resources, and OneDrive, off-campus without a VPN.
